What is Naan Bread?
Naan Bread is an Indian flat bread that resembles a pizza crust, and is firm enough to hold multiple toppings without falling apart. You can order Nana Bread online or pick it up at a well stocked grocery store. We usually get ours at Aldi’s.
How To Make Naan Bread Breakfast Pizza
- Set oven to broil and raise oven rack to second to highest level.
- Lay the Naan Bread on a large baking pan and use a basting brush to oil lightly on bottom side of each bread.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with chives and pepper. Spread each naan bread with about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture. Divide bacon pieces evenly between naan breads, then sprinkle evenly with the cheese.
- Transfer the baking pan to the oven, under the broiler. Broil 4 to 5 minutes until cheese is melting and starts to bubble. Watch carefully.
- Meanwhile, crack eggs into non-stick skillet. Cover and cook sunny side up, until egg whites are firm.
- Remove naan bread pizzas from oven and top each with a fried egg. Sprinkle with more chives and salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
